The church is one, but each part is unique. Everyone has been gifted to rescue and rebuild others and train others to do the same.

Our identity doesn't just affect our inside. It shows up in our outside too. The first thing Paul says it'll affect is our unity.

The identity God wants to give is all about what he wants to do inside of us...and he wants to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine!

God doesn't just give us a new blessed, powerful, changed identity for our own individual benefit. He gives us a new identity as a part of a whole Team. A Team that used to be our rival, but now we have the ability, peace and access to through Christ.

Paul prayed that the Ephesians would know the greatness of God's power. But how exactly are we supposed to experience the greatness of God's power?

Our identity should leave us desperate. Desperate for God to do what only he can do. So where does that leave us? It should leave us on our knees.

Our identity can be tied up in so many things. Our looks, work, activities, grades. God intended us to have an identity. But what identity are we supposed to have?

The thief on the cross realized he needed salvation. But Jesus gave him more than he asked for. Realize we're all Death Row Sons. Let God give you more than you ask.

The Reckless Son thought he had no chance at being a Son again. The Responsible Son thought his chance was tied to his work.
