In a multicultural society, we face the question, 'how should we relate to people from other backgrounds?' Paul shows us how we can have unity by being 'culture absorbers' and 'culture transformers'.

Togetherness Is part of unity but if it takes us away from the truth of the gospel, it isn’t the togetherness the God is looking for. Gospel unity brings freedom not slavery. Caveat Emptor!

As we continue Galatians, we explore the importance of being in unity, or ALL FOR ONE and being on the same track, or the right track. People were trying to force their traditions on new believers and stifling Paul’s fruitfulness, causing him to fear he was running his race in vain. How did he handle it, and how can we learn from it today?

God’s grace has been relentlessly at work in our lives. When The Grace Invasion catches up with us, we can fight it, run & hide, or surrender to it.  If we surrender to God’s grace, and give our lives over to Him… then what? Is grace all used up? What’s it for after that? After Paul encountered Christ, God’s grace empowers him to fulfil the same mission the church has today: Discipleship.

The apostle Paul shows us that it doesn’t matter what kind of person we are being, we cannot deflect what God is doing towards our salvation. Grace wins!

Paul brings out the big guns to demolish arguments against the Gospel of Grace. We discover that grace gives us the DNA of a butterfly even when we look like a caterpillar!

Paul tells the Galatians to evaluate his own messages by the gospel he first preached. In doing so, Paul is laying down a plumb line or measure for judging all truth claims, whether it be from external sources, or internally. We should not judge or measure the Bible/Gospel by our feelings, convictions or experiences - we should judge or measure our experiences by the Bible.

Jesus will never remove his grace from our lives but can we lose it? Find out how adding to grace reverses it in this week's message!
