Skip & Alison are very happy to welcome their first musical guests to the show, Paul Mahos and Jeff Allegue from the band New Life Crisis!  The Bedells ask the guys about their history, their cool experiences, and their hit songs.  They also perform live.  This episode is peppered with funny stuff, don’t miss it!

Spring has finally sprung, and all the prep that goes along with it can finally happen!  Alison has some seeding prep tips that she shares from having made some mistakes.  The Bedells discuss some current events, teachers having inappropriate relationships with students, corporal punishment, and changes that have evolved in schools over the last few decades.  Skip has some patio paver tips and answers listener questions.

The Bedells talk about the latest presidential candidate drama, and discuss the visitors to the home show this past weekend.  Alison found herself in an awkward position in a social situation, and needs listener advice.  The Bedells welcome a surprise guest before giving Tip Tuesday tips!  It’s Shawn Kathleen, who runs the famous “Passenger Shaming” Instagram and Facebook that is viewed by thousands and featured on so many tv shows.  She talks about how she came to start one of the most viewed accounts on Instagram, and talks about her experience as a flight attendant dealing with difficult passengers.  It was a real learning experience talking with Shawn, not to be missed.  Finally, the Bedells address Tip Tuesday questions, and Alison has Random Thoughts.

Alison tells Skip that she has her former partner at work coming onto the next episode to talk about their work stories from back in the day.  Emily Morse, of the Sex With Emily podcast sent Alison a present that she reviews.  The Bedells ordered an amazing range hood from CopperHoods.com, that is like a huge piece of art in the kitchen.  They have also started getting the kitchen and bathroom pieces from Moen.  There’s been a lot of interest in getting Alison onto other shows, which she is entertaining.  The Bedells then talk about their experience working on a show for the first time, being treated special after being just regular people.  It’s Tip Tuesday and Skip answers questions about cutting moulding, moldy bathrooms, low basement ceilings, old wiring with no ground, wobbly toilet, flashing on the roof, and glue vs epoxy.  Alison gives a preview to her next interview.  Skip recommends a couple of cool products, and then Alison has a Random Thought.

Skip and Alison talk about a garbage television gossip website that makes sensationalized videos that are based upon no factual information or research, and one included Skip and Adam and Catch a Contractor, and lawsuit that had been filed against the show years ago.  The Bedells go into detail to refute the slanderous lies that this crappy website made in their video, and how these sites try to get viewers by being no better than a grocery store rag like the Enquirer.  Alison schools Skip about Mr. Skin, and the shocking emails she has gotten.  A former tv host hit on Alison on Facebook, and a wannabe celebrity hit on Skip, find out who!  The Bedells discuss the latest anti-Trump commercial.  Rosie O’Donnell’s assemblyman brother made a huge fool of himself when voting to legalize MMA in New York.  The Bedells answer listener questions about dead grass, tension poles and Alison’s famous oatmeal recipe.

Skip and Alison are back from Milwaukee, and talk about the weekend at the home show. The saw a "little house", and discuss what it's like to be in one of them, and a creative idea that Ali came up with for the demo house she saw. Try to avoid LaGuardia airport, because there's a slew of problems taking a flight out of there. Delta flight attendants also posed a challenge on this trip, as well. They discuss carpool karaoke, and recent news stories. Skip gives some tips about a garage floor, drafty windows, load bearing beams and replacing shower pans. Finally, Alison has some random thoughts about armpits, Celino and Barnes, voting and slow moving large vehicles.

The Bedells are in Wisconsin for a home show and are reunited with Kayleen McCabe, host of the DIY network's "Rescue Renovation". They reminisce about when they all met while shooting a magazine cover last year, and discover a strange link between Kayleen and Skip from years prior that they were unaware of. Kayleen discusses how she became a licensed contractor (a trade with very few women) and her passion for educating kids on the construction trades as a career. Alison asks Kayleen about the marijuana in Denver, as it is legal to use recreationally there.
