  • 0055 TCT - A short interview with Will Richardson

    23/06/2009 Duração: 08min

Lucky us! Will Richardson came to Killeen to present to a group of teachers and admin. The topic was "From Information Literacy to Information Leadership." It was a great session that was uStreamed (link to follow on our web site at http://techchicktips.net) for at least part. Of course Murphy's Law rules supreme and our network went down in the building for a great portion of the presentation. We had the opportunity to interview Will Richardson as he was a captive audience on the way back to the airport to return home. We used Anna's iPhone with a Thumbtack mic. Not sure what was causing the strange thuunnnngg sounds throughout, but for the most part, it was pretty good for being in a car and through a phone. http://weblogg-ed.com/ http://twitter.com http://networksummercamp.ning.com/

Listen to the podcast to find out why! Well, okay - it’s because the navigation is clunky, the games aren’t easily discernible to ability level and the chat has very little protection for kids SmartPhone Filters (http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/iwonder_surf_lets_parents_lock_down_kids_iphones.php) - discussion of filtering on smartphones for students/kids and a link to
