Dan and Brandon start off the episode by sharing their "cable provider" horror stories from recent equipment upgrades. Later, Brandon shares his thoughts on The Martian, starring Matt Damon, and Dan discusses Pan, staring Hugh Jackman. They also talk about some of the recent movies they have seen on Blu-Ray.

In this episode, Dan and Brandon discuss terrible NFL calls and rip on Draft Kings and Fan Duel. They also take a look at the blazers preseason opener and discuss what they think about the upcoming season. It's still too early to tell, but they take a look at the new roster and see how it may shape up.
