Learn Czech

The Czech language, just like German, French, Spanish, or Russian, has three grammatical genders. However, there is nothing inherently male about the "masculine" nouns or female about the "feminine" nouns. How to tell what gender a noun has? As far as "unliving nouns", i.e. things, are concerned, it is not logical, it is just something you have to learn. But don't get panicky!
