Conversation #39, recorded on June 17, 2013. Mack Dryden and Jamie Alcroft have performed as the comedy duo "Mack and Jamie" for over 30 years. They starred in their own syndicated sketch comedy series COMEDY BREAK, alongside Kevin Pollack and SNL star Jan Hooks. They made their late night debuts on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JOHNNY CARSON and later host Jay Leno would praise them, saying that they are "the funniest comedy team working today." He's trained with Second City in Chicago, ComedySportz in Houston and was the education direction at BETA Theatre. He's performed regularly as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW. Adam (with his Denver-based comedy troupe The Grawlix) co-created the new TruTV sitcom THOSE WHO CAN'T, with fellow Grawlix Ben Roy and Andrew Orvedahl. (which later spun-off into the film IT'S PAT!) For seven seasons, Offerman portrayed the iconic role of Ron Swanson on NBC's beloved comedy PARKS AND RECREATION. He's appeared in the movies 21 JUMP STREET, THE LEGO MOVIE, along with spots on TV shows like CHILDRENS HOSPITAL, THE WEST WING, WILL AND GRACE, THE SIMPSONS and FARGO. He's appeared on JOHN OLIVER'S NEW YORK STAND-UP SHOW, CONAN, THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON, and recorded his own HALF HOUR on Comedy Central. Joe released his debut solo album SMILING AT WOLVES in2014, and has released two albums as part of THE BEARDS OF COMEDY, including CARDIO MIX and COMEDY FOR PEOPLE.
