We have hope because God has seen our situation and kept His promise to deliver us.

Wisdom isn't just something we can obtain and apply to our daily lives. Wisdom is a person with whom we can have a relationship.

Life is fraught with hardship and stress. When you are afraid, anxious or just plain stressed the answer to your anxiety isn't found in worry, in control, or in escape. That answer is found in remembering who God is.

Suffering reveals the inability of people and things to save us as well as our inability to save ourselves.

Sin and its effects bring us low, yet since the Lord hears us and redeems us, we know that He will also vindicate us against our enemies.

The only way to experience hope in each and every circumstance is to have hope above and beyond each and every circumstance.

When earthly kingdoms fail and it seems that God is against us, His mercy and faithfulness never come to an end.

We lament the holy and righteous anger of God against sin and appeal to God's compassion.

We can lament the presence and consequences of sin in ourselves and in the world, because we know that, in Christ, we are never punished.

We will grieve over sin and its effects now and experience God's grace forever, or we will be content with sin and its effects and experience God's justice forever.

We can lament the presence and effects of sin because we know the presence and effects of God's redeeming Grace.

We have been subject to, and a part of, an age-old curse that believes we can be like God, but we are called to be a part of an eternal blessing that sings of the one, true God.

We are people with many troubles who live for the Lord who is close by to deliver and save us.

We are weak and flawed people who get to make much of a good Deliverer.

Difficulty, Disappointment, & Devastation is REALITY for everyone in a world broken by sin BUT we are reminded that we are not confined ONLY to our circumstances. The REMEDY for our reality is our hope in God for deliverance and that He will defend us even while we wait on him.

All other stories, including our own story, only have value in so far as they point toward and fit into this larger Gospel story.
