General Baptist National Missions Director Dr. Stephen Gray starts a two week series called Dangerous Church.  This particular series has been adapted from Craig Groeschel.  Dr. Gray describes in detail what the church has become - safe.  We live in a culture of safety.  This safety mindset puts up walls that keep us from doing real ministry and reaching souls for Christ.  We must remember that Jesus called us to be different than the world and do, for Him, some things that involve risk, pain and loss.  We must lose ourselves for Him and His kingdom.

Senior Pastor Byron Beck speaks about one of the most effective and powerful means by which we can love.  Forgiving is what Jesus was all about.  It is how we show the world the Christ in us.  And as we forgive we can accept others for who they are.  This showing of God's love can transform a persons life.  But, many times this can come with a cost.  Sometimes we should love people the world says not to love and accept.

Associate Pastor Michael Chambers speaks about the big difference between believing something exists and really having faith in what you believe exists.  To fully become a citizen of the Kingdom you must have a real passion for God and a real compassion for mankind.  The message also encouraged the congregation to prepare for engagement in an upcoming church-wide campaign "40 Days of Love".  In addition, this message pointed to our vision for 2009 "Kingdom Pursuit - Bringing Up There Down Here".

Senior Pastor Byron Beck talks about how we should view failure in our lives.  We should plan on failing at times, but the most important thing we must do is use the failures to learn from and correct.  Also important to the Christian walk is to not allow fear of failure to grip us.  We must be willing to step out in faith and conquer our fears of failure.

Senior Pastor Byron Beck installs yet another great message to prepare the congregation for the vision of 2009 - Kingdom Pursuit Bring Up There Down Here.  The sermon focuses on our motivation to live for Christ.  The truth is exposed that we were bought with a great price, so we must submit to His will in our daily lives.  He didn't make the sacrifice for us to live according to our own will.
