    Tom Weiss grew up in Michigan and was of age during the Vietnam War.  He joined the Navy like his Dad before him.  After joining, he missed Woodstock (too tired, his buddies went), failed his electronic tech school but kept on going.  He ended up on the submarine the USS Gurnard and received his dolphins a few days before he was discharged.  Those dolphins sit on his law office desk, one of his greatest achievements.
