The Lord is our leader, but he also directs us in the areas of our life where we need to be directed. There’s an inherent relationship between hearing, and being led by the Holy Spirit. Often we forget what it cost for God to give us the Holy Spirit because it didn’t cost us anything, but it cost God everything. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey unpacks how the Holy Spirit is the difference maker in our hearts by bringing us into true rest and life. The true sign of the Holy Spirit is that you want to invite and include others in it, not just keep it to yourself.

Why are you discouraged? Why are you intimidated? When we operate out of the flesh, fear is inevitable, but in this ALLIN message, Pastor Josh explained the effects of the Holy Spirit: courage and confidence, bearing fruit and being led deeper in the word. When we allow the Spirit to have his full work in our hearts, our lives will point people to the lordship of Christ.

Wisdom is a seed that can be planted and establish a root system in our minds and hearts—a new way of thinking to approach situations, conflicts and trials. This is what it means to have the Mind of Christ. At C3 NYC's staff meeting, lead pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the seed of wisdom—and how, like the Parable of the Sower, God's wisdom can produce a harvest multiplied 30, 60 and 100 times over in our daily lives.

Pentecost marks the day the Holy Spirit fell on the disciples waiting and praying in the upper room, and for us today, we still celebrate the gift of the Spirit, the third person of the trinity. At the start of our Pneuma series, Pastor Jon explored the unique role of the Holy Spirit as advocate, teacher, transformer of our lives and comforter.

As we look towards Pentecost Sunday and the beginning of our PNEUMA series, we first must see the Holy Spirit as the more than miracles, signs and wonders. Our first calling is to be a witness of what God’s done. This Sunday, in the finale of our King series, lead Pastor Josh Kelsey preached from  Acts 1:8 on being witnesses. By faith, we receive what God has already accomplished. In anticipatory hope of what God’s already done, we have the power to be a witness. From the overflow of his love, even in trials and struggles, we testify to the world.

Jesus tells us what his cause is: to bring the kingdom of God to earth. The kingdom of God is not like this world. It is not just something to gloss over. It has the power to completely transform our lives. In this Sunday’s message, David Chan gives us 7 attributes of the new kingdom and reminds us of the true purpose of the new kingdom.
