    In this episode Jason Hettler discusses the social and developmental impact of Strength & Conditioning with Dave Hembrough.  In the early stages of Dave’s career he found himself working with a variety of athletes at the Olympic, Commonwealth, and World Championship levels. This included sports such as rugby, table tennis, golf, boxing and downhill mountain biking.  While Dave speaks very highly of these experiences, after 5-6 years he realized he was looking for more. Nate will be presenting at the December edition of the Thorne ACP. He is entering his 11th season as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Prior to that, he worked for four years with The Toronto Blue Jays and The Tampa Bay Rays. Nate learned his craft as a physical therapy technician before enrolling in the University of Florida’s Athletic Training Program. He gained valuable experience not only as a student trainer for the University’s Football team but also as a trainer at the Student Health Center and their Intramural Sports programs. Nate received his BS Degree in Sports Science with a specialization in Athletic Training. He lives in Arizona and is married with two children.
