She did the same visualization to get her book done by imagining herself holding the finished book before she even wrote it and also imagining her readers holding it and laughing.  She blogged about several topics and one that she wrote a lot about is endurance challenges. It fell into place as the topic to write about as she realized she could entertain people with her personal stories of the challenges of running and also encourage them to run.
