“Unlimited Submission?" – “What is our duty as American Christians?” - Only to God should there be unlimited Submission. * Romans 13:1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. * Our form of government is Federalism. - What did Paul actually say about submission to government in Romans 13? 1 Does Rom 13 teach that believers must submit to all governmental authority – even that of tyrants? 2 Does Paul differentiate between a tyranny and a proper government? 3 Must a believer offer unlimited submission to those in authority? - 1 Corinthians 4:2 Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. * What will our children’s generation say about how we stewarded the freedoms handed down to us? * What will God have to say? * WHAT is God saying to you now?

Staying can be difficult. * God’s will for your very best is directly related to the rest. * We find the power of staying is through those around us. * The difficult times you are having, God will use your victories and perseverance to minister to others. - Acts 19:21-22 After all this had happened, Paul decided to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia. "After I have been there," he said, "I must visit Rome also." He sent two of his helpers, Timothy and Erastus, to Macedonia, while he stayed in the province of Asia a little longer.

How then can anyone understand his own way? * Our greatest hope is in drawing close to the Lord. * We can trust that He is making something great in our lives. * May God get glory out of our lives.

“The Ultimate Solution” – “Jesus showing up in power is the only Ultimate Solution.” - There is a spiritual problem in our country. - We, the church, are the light and salt of the world. - When the church is absent to what is happening, we have lost our saltiness. The church needs to get out of the reaction mode and into the proactive mode. - Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children. - Ecclesiastes 7:13 Consider what God has done: Who can straighten what he has made crooked? * We need to become overwhelmed by our knowledge of God. * God wants to use you where you are at. * Acts 2:1-13 The Coming of the Holy Spirit - What does it look like when Revival Comes?

God will put His Spirit within us. – God can do what He wants anytime because He sees the heart. - Do we long for God or just want him to fix the problem? - We gather to pray because we want things to change. – Transforming Prayer: * Pray with specificity * Pray with an urgent time frame * Expect results - We need to give God our undivided attention.

“Resilience” – “The ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune.” – * How to develop Resilience: Romans 5 Peace with God through faith. - How Jesus developed Resilience? Luke 4:1-13: 1 We can trust in God’s word. 2 God can sustain you through every trial and temptation. 3 Resilience in improving character. - Jesus’s mission statement. “Luke 4:18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." * Do you know what your purpose in life is? * God is with you in your pain. * Sometimes our heartache is for someone else because we have gone through it ourselves. * Revival starts with you. * Spending time with our God builds resilience.

“The Triumph of a Supernatural Life” – “It all started in the Garden” – Genesis 3:1-24 The Fall, the truly first big lie. - "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." - Gen-Z Mid-to-late 1990s as starting birth years and the early 2010s as ending birth years. * Most depressed * Crippled by anxiety * Most prone to self-harm and suicide * 70% see a hopeless future - Gen-Z has been deprived of their boundaries: * Give them what they want. * Overly protective parents. - Three variable ideas that are untrue: 1. What doesn’t kill you makes you weaker. 2. Always trust your feelings. 3. If they disagree with you, they are evil. - 2Timothy 3:1-5 Godlessness in the Last Days - Revival is the only answer. We need to live above this nature. Christ is the only way! - Christ's Example of Humility - Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
