How I refer to Baptism today is: Baptism is an outward sign of an inward experience. Baptism declares to the world that I have laid down my life to Christ and have been raised in newness of life in Christ.

Scripture declares that Jesus's Return in Glory is eminent! The Bible also declares that 'no man knows the day or the hour' but we can know the times and the seasons! All of Creation was established in 6 days, and on the 7th day, God rested. Death and destruction is the result of sin and therefore came into being as the result of mankinds 'fall' in the Garden. Jesus came to pay the price for that sin and to enable man to come 'back' into right relationship with God the Father.

Many people in Christianity are not prepared for the turns that life ‘will take’ when one gives their life to Christ or takes on a Christian ministry. I read a story about a man with 42 years in the ministry who said that he had come across something new. He began to share and then his friend asked, ‘how he could pray for his church. This is what I want to address this morning.
