So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him;male and female he created them.  Genesis 1:27

The Creation, in its glory, mystery, form, and fill, speaks to the glory of God. The creation as described in Genesis is a creation that functions. The creation as we experience it is a creation that falters. The hope of this world is not that this creation is a bygone era of something lost never to be recovered, but rather a creation loved by a creator God who is redeeming and restoring all things. The picture of perfection is not the end, but the beginning, of the life in the world to come. And it is Christ, the creator King, who will ultimately bring all things to their glorious consummation. Preached by Rev. Jeff Heiser
