The crux of our personal development journey is nothing more than releasing the ego thought system in favor of spirit's thought system. This seemingly big task can be accomplished with nothing more than a simple willingness to have our minds changed.

On what would have been my mother's 70th birthday I reflect on the three years she has been gone, this process and what may occur during it.

You are probably doing better than you think

The less we look to the outside world to give us anything, the more we will enjoy it.

Getting what we truly want isn't all that hard when we understand what it actually is.

The more deeply we understand the dysfunctional thinking that guides us, all the things that don't make sense start to very clearly. And this understanding is a game changer.

Intellectual understanding and practical application of spiritual teachings are worlds apart.

Your egoic mind is constantly trying to keep you from changing and it has some pretty good tricks up its sleeve.

The answer may surprise you but offers an immediate fix.

Spirit can handle our lives much better than we can but it needs our help in some important ways.

There is one very important thing we must do to get at the root if every problem we face.

There is one tendency of which we want to be aware in particular when walking this path, because it is one we will find very tempting.

The 'now' holds many gifts for us.

Dealing with our feelings will be central to our spiritual and personal growth, as much as we wish we could avoid it!

The best way to receive the things our human mind values most is not what we would expect

This is a major shift in thinking that can be challenging for a very unexpected reason

Regardless of the nature of the relationship, any conflict or negative feelings towards the other person, has just one cause.

Manifestation often works in ways the mind can't understand and misjudges much of the journey.

The ego thought system view of the world and ourselves is worlds apart from the spirit's. The former brings much pain while the latter brings healing. For any growth-oriented person who is struggling with this issue, they know the only way to find greater peace is examining their thinking behind it.
