How can we have the power of God at work in our lives? By revering and fearing God more than men. Before living the Christian life before men and evangelizing the world, the disciples were instructed to wait until they received power from on high. Jesus knew that only God's power would enable them to succeed.

Even after years of following Jesus, working His miracles with Him, and receiving his teachings and passing the test, the disciples of Jesus still were not fully equipped to carry on His work.
