This week we are joined by Vancouver moss enthusiast and comedian, Jenny Toews! Jenny is the first guest to pull up to record in a work truck. Since the boys have known Jenny she has battled the Vancouver elements as a landscaper. She joins us to talk about her favorite movie, her unquenchable love for moss, and securing loads for transfer 

This week's guest is the hilarious Brent Constantine. Brent is a Stand up comedian and show runner in Vancouver. But before tepid Vancouver he grew up on the cold streets of Edmonton. Brent joins us to talk about the various steel toed jobs he's had, fun nicknames for fathers, and oh so many dead animals. 

We're joined by comedian, and our first improviser, Ember Konapaki! Ember lives in Vancouver. She's a comedian by night and educator by day. But before the big city she grew up in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Living there before and during the economic boom of the 00's, Ember gives us a little insight into Fort McMurray the community. We talk about her summer job with the city, spray decks, and worksite innuendos.

Ivan Decker is one of Canada's best comedians. For years he was named "funniest comedian in Canada under 30" He has appeared on the CBC multiple times for multiple comedy festivals. He recorded a comedy special before most people can rent a car. Before his success in comedy he was a young man with a rake. Ivan joins us to talk about his time in concrete finishing and landscaping, lawnmower safety, and of course, we briefly touch on dinosaurs. 

We're joined by our first international guest, Mark O'Keeffe! Originally from Ireland, now making his home in Vancouver, Mark is one of our favorite new Stand-up comedians in town. Like many young people is Ireland Mark left his country in search of work, work that requires steel toes. Amateur comic by night landscaper by day Mark joins us to talk about his love of garbage, stuffed animal abuse, and how to get ecstacy in Ireland.

Toronto Comedian and tallest guest to date joins us to discuss all things steel toes. Before Efthimios was touring the country as a Stand-up comedian, and appearing on the CBC, he was a pipe fitting apprentice. We talk about the dark places ladders can take us, hack job site jokes, and cat calling in the 21st century. 

This week we're joined by THE Ladies Choice: Travis Waters. We try to get a word in as the Professional Wrestler and stand up comedian discusses his life on the fringe which has included Steel toes, steel plates and 90's exotic dance clubs.

Katie Burrell, our second Katie and first sheet metal worker, sits down with James, Ryan, and Stefan. We talk about her short stint sheet metal, her long career as a sushi chef and get into the advantages of subcontracting. Figure it out. 

Kevin Banner is a Vancouver comedian, he has opened for Bill Burr, Norm Macdonald, and Doug Stanhope. However, he joins us to talk about working in "The Mac" and his co-workers Tarzan impressions. 

Vancouver Comedian Katie-Ellen Humphries joins Steel Toes Required, and boy, does it get hot in here! We talk about disposing of urine, her interesting exploits working at Victoria's hottest nightclub "the gravel pit" and tell tale of the legend that once roamed the highways of Vancouver Island.

In the pilot episode we lay the foundation for the podcast (DO YOU GET IT!?!?!) James Kennedy, Ryan Williams,  and Stefan MacNeil introduce themselves. We talk about the podcast, our backgrounds and introduce the show's segments. 

The boys sit down with former Calgary resident, and current Vancouver comedian, Chris Griffin! We talk workplace attire and undercover "people of nefarious careers" We thought we lost this episode due gross computer incompetence, but we were reunited and it feels so good.
