This month Tim speaks with Sarah Holmes about working with young people with additional needs.  Sarah has worked for the past 20 years in the health & social care sector managing and developing support services for children, young people and adults with a range of additional needs including Learning Disability, Autism, Emotional & Behavioural difficulties, Physical Disability and Mental Health needs. Sarah has also worked with a range of UK Christian organisations over the past ten years to support events and develop training and support for including children and young people with additional needs. Tim and Dustin talk about sex & Relationships with Youthscape's Rachel Gardner. Rachel is the Relationship Lead at Youthscape, responsible for pioneering new ways to engage young people in healthy relationships. A best selling author of a number of books for young people, Rachel speaks widely on youth and faith related topics.  Go get something to write with, cause Rachel drops some serious knowledge in this episode.

This month we have a returning guest! The Youthscape Deputy Chief Executive, Martin Saunders.  Martin has wide experience of developing resources and materials for youth work and is the author of over ten books including Youthwork from Scratch. He worked previously as the Editor of the UK’s largest national youth work magazine Youthwork and writes and speaks widely on creative resource development, innovation and youth culture. His current work within the organisation focuses on the creative development process for new resources and materials. So it was only right that we asked him about Youthscape's Innovation process.  This is amazing. Grab something to take notes and enjoy!

Ruth has 16 years’ experience working with children, young people and their families. I had an opportunity to catch Helen Cutteridge at the Gathering to talk about Young People and Mental Health. This is a growing issue in todays society, especially amongst young people. Please have a listen and share with whoeveryou think would benefit from listening to this episode. Helen Cutterdige has been doing Youth Work for the last 10years, qualifying with a degree and JNC in Youth and Community Work with CYM. She’s worked for local churches, local councils and for the last year has been working for Youthscape as their Emotional Wellbeing (Self Harm) Lead for the local team, most of Helen’s time is spent supporting young people 1:1 or in group settings in school. She also delivers training for SelfharmUK, writes blogs and talks at other events. Enjoy!

Tim & Dustin talk with Michael Edwards (or Eddy as we refer to him as in this episode) about Youth Clubs!! This is a great episode for all considering or already hosting Youth Clubs.  Eddy has a degree in Applied Theology (Youth Track), and is just about to complete his Masters. Upon graduating in 2013 he was asked to stay on by Elim's Regents Theological College as Course Assistant on the youth course. Since 2012 he's been involved with Resonate Pioneer Church in Malvern, and has led it as an Minister in Training since 2014. He's an MUFC season ticket holder, Labour Party member and loves Dr. Who.
