Pete unpacks the wonderful end to this book: Boaz wins Ruth, God gives them a family, the future grandchild will save the nation and the Saviour of the world, Jesus, will come from this family line! Ruth 4:1-22

Pete outlines the plan of Naomi that Ruth activities at midnight as show goes to find Boaz at the threshing floor. After proposing Ruth has to wait for Boaz to sort things the next day. Ruth 3:1-18

Pete looks at the hard work Ruth commits whilst ultimately recognising she is guided by God to the field of Boaz.Te grace shown to this foreigner is because she choose to hide herself under the wings of God. Ruth 2:1-23

Pete showed how bad choices resulted in suffering & loss. Ruth demonstrates loyalty & faithfulness but hope comes when God brings the Barley Harvest. Ruth 1:1-22

Pete looks at the Spirit filled church in the New Testament and draws out 4 points: The were totally committed, who celebrated God, lived in radical community and saw the numbers expand. Acts 2:42-47

Adam looks at how we are invited to Walk With God, & how although we often walk away from Him, God has found a way to call us back into His presence. Gen 3:8.

In week 6 of the series Pete looks at how despite Christians suffering we can be full of hope: we identify with Christ, we are filled with the Spirit, we know the care of the Father, receive the love of the family & have a future hope of glory. This results is us being materially and relationally generous. 1 Peter 4:12 & 13

In week 4 of the series Pete looks at the fact we act what we are - a called and chosen people. The reason is so we can declare His praise. Practically this impacts out daily, weekly & monthly routines as we seek to love Jesus, people & life. 1 Peter 2:9-12

In week 3 of the series Pete shows how we are to value the word of God and use it to care for one another: in everyday life, over time, with grace and good news because God is great, glorious, good and gracious. 1 Peter 1:22-2:3

In week 2 of the series Pete looks at how we are called for a purpose: to live as a community. The church is to be holy - separate from sin and living for God - which is described as being a family together. 1 Peter 1:13-2:5

On our 1st Redeemer Fathers day Pete looks at the job of being a Father - to lead, teach, provide & spiritually feed our kids. The Bible has provided honest role models of negative & positive Fathers but the Perfect Father is God in heaven.

In week 1 of the series Pete looks at how believers are described as strangers in this world - similar to Abraham in the OT. In this life we may well suffer as Jesus did but our salvation has been paid for - so we are born again and totally loved by the Father 1 Peter 1:1-12

On our 1st Redeemer dedication Pete looks through the Bible for parenting tips. There are many stories of how people got it wrong and a great parable of how God gets it right. God is a perfect father to each one of us.Luke 15:11-32

Pete looks at the topic of giving. Exodus 35:4-9.

Pete shows us from the lives of Joseph, Abraham & Jesus, that the church is to be for all nations. Gen 41:41-51, Gen 12, John 8:12.

Following on from last week’s sermon, Pete gives us some practical ways in which we can deal with pressure by living a Christ centred lives. Rom 1:24. Mark 7:20. Jer 17. Prov 16:2.

Pete shares how a God Centred approach to life helps us deal with stress, especially with the fast pace of life that comes with living in London. Luke 10:38-42. Matt 6:31-34.

Pete takes a look at the clues shared with us on the original Easter Sunday, that Jesus has risen. Luke 23:55-56.

Pete shows us how Jesus came to proclaim His kingdom. Luke 19:28-40.

Is Easter just a chocolate egg???... Pete shows us that it definitely was not cute and not chocolatey! Jesus demonstrated that He came to remove the barriers between us and God. Matt 21.
