The purpose of God before the foundation of the world, was to provide salvation to all who would put their faith in Jesus. When Jesus spoke of the new wine and wineskin, he was in fact referring to his own body. The intent of the 'old' covenant was to point us to the real sanctifying power. It was an illustration, to point us to Jesus. Being in faith, is largely being fully aware that God has heard your prayer and intends to answer it. Jesus is moved by faith. Faith doesn't come just from what is said but by what is done - the action proves our belief in God. In seeking more of God, by responding to His promise with action, this is actually our faith. We can be sure, that if we're seeking him for more power, we will receive. The Holy Spirit isn't meant to be some kind of optional extra for your life but it's the intent of God that you would walk in power all your days. This message will help add to your hunger in seeking more of Him.
