Lifepoint Church: Audio Podcast

Lives are changing every day in the local church as well as the global church. Each of the Lifepoint Campus Pastors share just how powerfully God is moving at all five locations. 

God’s mercy and faithfulness to us are so great, they both inspire and warrant a response. Pastor Daniel teaches us that we should respond by drawing close to Jesus, holding to His Word unswervingly, and inspiring action in others by the way that we live.

It’s always helpful to have a model in our life, and that includes having a model for our faith. Pastor Daniel uses the life of Abraham as an example of how we can increase our faith through seeking the Lord and walking confidently in the hope of eternity. 

Life is messy, but when God is with us, we can rest even in messy situations. Pastor Eddie Cole teaches us how recording and remembering God’s faithfulness in our past gives us faith and peace for the future. 

Grit is passion and perseverance toward a goal despite difficult obstacles, and believers need to possess grit. Pastor Bianca Olthoff teaches us that when we are willing to change our perspective, remember our purpose, and pivot when necessary, we become people who possess the grit needed to fight for all God has called us to. 

Often, Jesus answers our prayer in the form of an assignment. Pastor Daniel uses the story of the leper in Luke 17 as a reminder that when Jesus answers our prayers, we should always return with humility, gratitude, and praise. 

Despite all that life may throw at us, good and godly friends are a blessing that can help us overcome difficulties. Pastor Dino Rizzo uses the story of the lame man in the Bible whose friends brought him to Jesus as an example of the kind of friend we should look for and be.

You live out what is rooted in the soil of your life. Pastor Daniel teaches us that when we allow God to define us, our identity will be rooted in Him and we will live the lives He intended for us. 

The Lord has called us to be the salt of the earth, and to be effective in this we must cultivate intimacy with Jesus. Aaron Judkins teaches us that we discover this intimacy through a prayer life filled with intentionality, honesty, and the desire to truly listen to the voice of God. 

Proverbs 29:18 reminds us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” On this Vision Sunday, Pastor Daniel reminds us that the ultimate vision of the Church is to help people know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference.

When we face pressure, we can either allow it to confine us or refine us. Pastor Daniel teaches us that when we listen to the voice of the Lord, ready to put in the work, we can trust that God will bring us out of the cave of confinement and into His glorious will. 

When opportunities or trials knock at our door, do we answer with fear or with faith? Pastor Daniel challenges us to make sure our faith aligns with God’s timing, will, and way. 

In life, we will inevitably face a problem which we do not possess the earthly power to solve. Pastor Daniel teaches us that when we discard assumptions, lean into the uncomfortable, and humble ourselves, we make room for God to work in the supernatural. 

Despite what the world may teach, enjoyment is a gift that comes directly from God and is not contingent on our circumstances. Pastor Carolyn Haas teaches us that our souls must first have the integrity to handle the weight of our dreams, and then God will be faithful in pouring our wisdom, knowledge, and happiness. 

We believe that the youth of today are not the next generation, but the now generation. Pastor Daniel sits down with youth leaders Aaron Judkins, Lexi Maynor, and Dakari Rollins to discuss the trials this generation faces and how getting planted in the house of the Lord will ultimately help even the fiercest of life’s storms.

The local church is the hope of the world, and there is need in our communities that we are called to provide for. Pastor Tammie Floyd teaches us how we are called to give joyfully, sacrificially, and willingly as we count it a privilege to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our world. 

Life is full of important questions, and one of the most important questions for the believer is, “What more can I do?” Pastor Daniel teaches us that in response to the hurting world around us, we are called to be difference makers.

The book of Proverbs offers sound wisdom for the believer, but sometimes we can feel overwhelmed with where to go and what to do with the wisdom God offers us through His word. Berchman Paul teaches us that through godly attention, humility, and alignment with God’s will, we move forward in a way that honors the Lord and brings peace to those around us. 

All of us have experienced being foolish at some point in our lives, but there is a better way to live! Pastor Stu Hodges shows us that dependence gives directions, and when we depend on God, He guides us on the path of wisdom. 

We have an enemy of our souls. That enemy is the devil, who is a liar that tells us we are average and common. Pastor TJ Williams, Lifepoint Spotsylvania campus, reminds us that God calls us peculiar, which means different, distinct, and separate. We are His children, His workmanship, created with a purpose. Pastor TJ describes several ways we can be different and build a faith that will withstand whatever obstacles we might face.
