The novel is about an Irishman's migration to England in search of fieldwork and is illustrated with the work of _New Yorker_ staff photographer Steve Pyke. O'Grady's reading is interspersed with music from fiddle-and-gutar duo Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill and the singing of Anie Meenaghan.
