Matthew 9:18-34 This week we look at three healings that Jesus performed. How do we respond to Jesus' power and authority. We look at some different perspectives of those who were healed and see how that applies to us.

Matthew 9:1-8. Have you ever felt paralyzed? Whether by fear, your inadequacy or your past we can all feel like the signals that God is sending aren't quite making it to us. This week we talk about two things we need. Others and (you guessed it) Jesus.

Matthew 8:28-34 - What could Jesus do with a someone as messed up as the demon possessed guy? Isn't it interesting how we see people as hopeless while Jesus sees their potential? Jesus not only saves the man possessed by demons but he gives him a ministry as well.

Matthew 8:23-27 - Jesus tells the disciples to get in the boat and go to the other side of the Sea of Galilee. During this trip Jesus teaches his disciples some things that we can learn from going through storms.

Matthew 8:17-22 This week we talk about two different kinds of balloon rides. One is a safety tested, government approved ride for the masses. The other is a 13,000 ft lawn chair with helium balloons and a pellet gun. Which one describes your relationship with God?

Matt 8:1-17 What do you do after you preach the greatest sermon ever preached? Well, you live it. That's where we find Jesus when we meet up with Him again.

Jesus tells us there are two roads, two gates and two destinations. They are the narrow and wide road, the narrow and wide gate and life and destruction. One gate starts with Jesus and one starts with us. Which road are you on? This week we talk about the difference.

Back in the early 90's Saturday Night Live had a sketch with Dana Carvey playing George Bush Sr. "It wouldn't be prudent...not at this juncture" was a saying he would often use. Prudence is not a term that we use very much. However, scripture uses it. What is it? Do we even want it? Pastor Tom explores this term and how it impacts us.

Matt 7:12 - This week we go over the "Golden Rule." We typically see this as a negative. "Don't take your sister's candy. You don't want her doing that to you do you?" The problem is, the Golden Rule speaks more about doing than not doing. We talk this week about doing the "do."

Matt 7:7-11 Have you ever lost your car keys? This week we talk about turning over the pillows and dumping out the drawers in your life to look for the Kingdom of God.

Pastor Tom Davis fills in for John as he talks about the way of the cross. What makes you competent? Would you be excited to be called a "scumbag?" Pastor Tom tells us how we can focus on the things that God finds important.

What kind of standard do you apply to yourself and others? Is it God's standard? This week we talk about judging others. How do we help each other remove the harmful behaviors in our lives without being too critical?

Matt 6:33-34 It's not enough just to say "Stop worrying." Fortunately, Jesus gives us some insight to help us replace that worry with something else.

Matt 6:25-32 If anyone understands the pressures of life it's Jesus. So He must know a thing or two about anxiety. He does.
