Lets Chat With Pete Dillon

Tom Ballard is a comedian, Radio and TV presenter, brainiac and an, at times, naughty boy.  His show Enough was a hot of the Brisbane Comedy Festival and opens in Melbourne from March 28, 2019.  Cheeky and irreverent with frequent coarse language, Tom has a long future ahead of him on our stages and screens.  He even reveals he wanted to be an actor. Pete had a great chat with Tom Ballard, even being thrown out of Tom's Green Room mid interview. 

In 2013 Dami Im arrived, seemingly out of nowhere, and found herself a home in the sonic heart of Australia. Born in South Korea, Dami won The X Factor on the strength of her astonishing voice and palpable sense of artistry. More success followed as Dami earned multiple ARIA accreditations, including #1 chart positions and multi-platinum sales for the likes of her self-titled debut album and hit singles ‘Alive’, ‘Super Love’ and ‘Gladiator’.  Classically trained and with a beautiful appreciation of music in all its forms, Dami caught up with Pete for a chat

As he steps aside from the seat of Lilley after more than 20 years, he reflected on his life in public service, Bruce Springsteen and Jimi Hendrix. 

Petula Clark was a star at the age of 11. She starred in British concert halls and on BBC radio singing for the troops during WWII. She was a child star in a series of British films from the end of WWII through to the early 1950s,and by 1954 was having hit records. After a move to France in 1960, having fallen for a Frenchman, she had hit records all over Europe ,and by 1966 with such hits as "Downtown" and "my Love" having topped the American charts, became a truly international star. Now in her 80's Petula caught up with Pete from New York before her last tour 

Priscilla Ann Presley is an American actress and business magnate. She is the former wife of American singer Elvis Presley as well as former chairwoman of Elvis Presley Enterprises, the company that turned Graceland into one of the top tourist attractions in the United States. Pete wanted to know what life was like with Elvis - how did they hang out together and what was life like at home. 

James "Midge" Ure OBE is a Scottish musician, singer-songwriter and producer. Known for his contribution to bands like Silk, Thin Lizzy, Visage and Ultravox, Midge has enjoyed a career spanning 40 years.  His stage name, Midge, is a phonetic reversal of Jim.  Pete chatted with Midge when he was last in Australia, embarking on a tour playing all of his best.  Entertaining, charming and interesting, Midge has led a charmed life in the business of popular music.
