  • POSTCAST: Two Outs Away, Mets BLOW 9th Inning Lead And Lose 11TH Straight Game

    19/04/2026 Duração: 19min

Two outs away. The New York Mets were two outs away from snapping their losing streak. Instead, they lost in extras for their 11th straight loss.  It was another rough day for the Mets offensively, as an MJ Melendez solo HR accounted for the only run. The Mets pitching was brilliant until the 9th inning, where Devin Williams served up up the game-tying hit to former Met Michael Conforto.  In extras, the offense couldn't get a run across and that was it as the Cubs didn't need a hit to score Pete Crow-Armstrong to walk it off in the 10th.  They have now tied the 2004 Mets with 11 straight losses. A day off tomorrow, with the Minnesota Twins in town for a three game series starting on Tuesday.  Everydayer Club  If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official. • Could the Mets' Season Be OVER Before it Even Really Starts? | 10-Game Losing Streak and Counting

    19/04/2026 Duração: 29min

New York Mets spiral as losing streak hits double digits—with history definitely not on their side. Can a last-minute pitching shakeup and Juan Soto’s return rescue the season before it slips away? Ryan Finkelstein breaks down the Mets’ brutal 10-game skid, casting doubt on the team’s odds of climbing back to contention.   Key discussion points include Tobias Myers replacing David Peterson in a desperate rotation move, the impact of Jorge Polanco’s injury, and why Ronny Mauricio keeps getting overlooked despite his hot bat in Syracuse.   The episode examines Francisco Lindor and Brett Baty’s slumps, the failure of recent roster changes like Tommy Pham and MJ Melendez, and the mounting pressure on David Stearns. Will the Mets find stability, or are even bolder moves needed to right the ship? The season may not be over, but the hole is getting deeper by the day.   Everydayer Club   If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official. • POSTCAST: UNABLE To Find Answers, Mets Drop TENTH Straight Game

    18/04/2026 Duração: 21min

An early lead. Out hitting the Chicago Cubs. None of it mattered as the New York Mets have now lost TEN games in a row.  Mark Vientos got the Mets out to a 1-0 lead early with a solo home run, although the lead was short lived as Ian Happ got Freddy Peralta for a homer of his own to tie the game.  Peralta and Cubs starter Jameson Taillon settled in after that and traded zeros. That was until the 6th inning where a pair of two-out walks knocked Peralta out of the game. Brooks Raley came in and faced pinch hitter Carson Kelly. One pitch later and the Cubs had a 4-1 lead.  The Mets had a chance in the 8th, as they got the first two men on to start the inning but were only able to produce one run out of the opportunity.  Their 7-14 start is tied for third worst in franchise history and they'll have to win tomorrow to avoid matching the 11 game losing streak from 2004. Everydayer Club  If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official. 17/04/2026 Duração: 26min

  • Did the New York Mets Just Hit ROCK-BOTTOM? | If So, There's Nowhere to Go But Up!

    16/04/2026 Duração: 31min

The New York Mets' losing streak has extended to eight games, as the Dodgers blew them out on Wednesday night behind a strong start by Shohei Ohtani, and a late offensive barrage. • POSTCAST: STRUGGLES Continue, As Mets Lose EIGHTH Straight Game

    16/04/2026 Duração: 18min

It's a broken record at this point, as the New York Mets offense remained absent and they lost their eighth consecutive game.  The offense is the main character of the Mets struggles right now, scoring just three runs in the three game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Tonight, the Mets 1 through 4 hitters were held to just one hit.  Clay Holmes did enough to keep the Mets in the game over his five innings of work, but any deficit the Mets face at the moment feels like attempting to climb Mt. Everest.  It will be a much needed off day for the club, before they start up a weekend series against the Chicago Cubs on Friday.  Everydayer Club  If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official. • Nolan McLean Provides a Silver Lining, But the Losing Continues | Steve Cohen Preaches Patience

    15/04/2026 Duração: 28min

Despite a gem by rookie ace Nolan McLean, the New York Mets losing streak continues as the lineup did not score after Francisco Lindor's leadoff home run. Host Ryan Finkelstein breaks down why this loss is a bit more acceptable when Yoshinobu Yamamoto was dominating, but the at-bats off the Dodgers bullpen in the 9th were not.   Steve Cohen preaches patience to a fan base that has very little left to give, even this early in the season.    Everydayer Club   If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official. • POSTCAST: Mets WASTE Gem From Nolan McLean, Lose SEVENTH In A Row

    15/04/2026 Duração: 17min

It was a pitcher's duel that lived up to the hype, but the New York Mets ended up on the wrong side as they've now lost their seventh in a row. Nolan McLean was brilliant, allowing just one run over seven innings and matching Los Angeles Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto zero for zero.  But in the 8th inning, after a lead off walk, Brooks Raley gave up the go-ahead RBI single to Kyle Tucker and the Mets offense couldn't respond.  For a brief moment, it look liked tonight was going to be different. Francisco Lindor led off the game with a home run, yet that was the only thing the Mets could muster.  They will attempt to avoid back to back sweeps and their 8th straight loss, with Clay Holmes on the bump.  Everydayer Club  If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official. New York Mets' lineup hits a new low as run production woes spark a "Groundhog Day of Misery" in Queens. Can even an MVP-level Juan Soto save this struggling offense? Host Ryan Finkelstein dissects the Mets’ brutal loss and ongoing six-game skid, spotlighting the punchless lineup and questionable roster decisions—including Tommy Pham's rushed return and the benching of Brett Baty.   Key segments include a breakdown of David Peterson’s gutsy but flawed outing, the ripple effects of offseason moves shipping Pete Alonso and Brandon Nimmo out, and the mounting pressure on David Stearns’ front office vision.   With Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Shohei Ohtani looming as the next pitching challenges, the episode examines whether Francisco Lindor and Bo Bichette can rebound or if the Mets are facing a lost season.   Everydayer Club   If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official. • POSTCAST: Déjà Vu As Peterson STRUGGLES, Bats Stay COLD In SIXTH Straight Loss

    14/04/2026 Duração: 17min

Different stadium, same result for the New York Mets. The bats remained cold and David Peterson struggled as they fell to the Dodgers, 4-0.  For the third time in their last four games, the Mets were shutout and they didn't have any answers for Dodgers start Justin Wrobleski who threw EIGHT scoreless innings on just 90 pitches.  David Peterson started for the Mets, and it looked like it was going to be off the rails from the jump as he loaded the bases in the first. He was able to limit the damage to just one but the Dodgers got him for three courtesy of a Andy Pages three-run home run. And that was all that was needed. The Mets mustered just three hits and the Dodgers faced one over the minimum in this one. It'll be a pitcher's duel on paper tomorrow with Nolan McLean going up against Yoshinobu Yamamoto, as the Mets will try and snnap their six game losing streak.  Everydayer Club  If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official. 13/04/2026 Duração: 36min

New York Mets spark fan debate as Tommy Pham returns to the big league roster amid outfield injuries and a sluggish start. 12/04/2026 Duração: 17min

The New York Mets were shutout for the third time this season and were swept at the hands of the A's for their fifth straight loss.  A pitcher's duel between Freddy Peralta and Aaron Civale came down to a Nick Kurtz home run as the difference.  Offensively it was much of the same for the Mets, who scored just six runs over the course of the series.  Now, the Mets start a road trip out in LA against the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers. • POSTCAST: Bats WAKE UP, Not Enough As Kodai Senga And Luke Weaver STRUGGLE

    11/04/2026 Duração: 16min

The bats woke up late for the New York Mets, but a rough start for Kodai Senga and a rough outing for Luke Weaver led to their fourth straight loss. The Mets actually jumped out to a 1-0 lead in this one, courtesy of a Bo Bichette RBI single. That lead didn't last long, as the A's jumped all over Kodai Senga for seven runs in just 2.1 innings for the Mets starter. They didn't roll over, however, as they scored two in the 5th, two in the 6th and got a solo home-run from Jorge Polanco, his first of the year, to cut the lead to 7-6.  But before the Mets could complete the comeback, the A's got some insurance runs off Luke Weaver, in his second straight rough outing.  Tomorrow, they'll try to avoid a sweep and the losing streak growing to 5 with Freddy Peralta on the bump. Everydayer Club  If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official.
