The bats woke up late for the New York Mets, but a rough start for Kodai Senga and a rough outing for Luke Weaver led to their fourth straight loss. The Mets actually jumped out to a 1-0 lead in this one, courtesy of a Bo Bichette RBI single. That lead didn't last long, as the A's jumped all over Kodai Senga for seven runs in just 2.1 innings for the Mets starter.
