Julius Phillips jr. was born and raised in Marion SC. Where growing up was tough, but he was able to find a place of happiness within his art. However it wasn’t until after watching Toy Story in the 8th grade, he realized he wanted an artistic career. So he did what he could to study and hone his craft. Unfortunately, upon graduating from Marion High School, he found his scholarships weren’t enough to help him push his dreams. So, like many of us, he put his dreams on hold and in the summer of 2000, Julius joined the U. S. Navy. Where he went on to have a stellar career Navel career.
