Unto Messiah the Prince (Daniel 9:25-27) When Jesus started his earthly ministry he said “the time is fulfilled.” What exactly did He mean by those words? He meant that the exact number of years as spoken by the prophet Daniel in Daniel 9 had been fulfilled. This amazing prophecy is carefully examined showing the exquisite detail in predicting the very time when Jesus was presented to Israel. This prophecy is not waiting to be fulfilled (as many modern teachers suggest) but was fulfilled when Messiah appeared.

In the Land (Genesis 12:1-3) In order for the kingdom to be established in the earth, it was necessary for there to be a people living in one place on this planet where God’s will was always done. So he brought to himself the nation of Israel and gave them their own land. God’s plan was to establish the land as a beachhead from which his rule could be spread throughout the earth. Focus is on the nation of Israel as a ‘kingdom’ people.

The kingdom now required a redemption of humans as God’s image-bearers.
