Falling out of love is not an instantaneous event, but rather a slow, gradual, process. Is Jesus still our first love? Is He still our first thought in the morning? Is He our last thought before we fall asleep? Pastor Jared Dietrich - a Michigan native turned Mongolian Missionary - joins us to encourage us to "Remember our First Love".

What happens after we meet Jesus and accept Him as Savior? Drawing from the Book of Acts, we discover a consistent pattern throughout the early church: when people encountered Christ and believed, they were immediately baptized. This wasn't just religious ritual—it was the natural next step in a love relationship with God. Love naturally wants to express itself in increasingly intimate ways. Just as a couple moves from dating to engagement to the wedding ceremony and consummation, our faith journey involves outward expressions of inward transformation. Baptism emerges not as something that saves us, but as the physical act that consummates our spiritual covenant with Christ. After we accept Christ, the waters of baptism are the next logical step.

There is a common misconception that God's commands are restrictive, arguing instead that they lead to abundant life. Despite what we think, love is not a feeling but rather a costly, consistent, committed choice to do what's best for someone else. God's love for humanity is demonstrated through Christ's substitutionary death on the cross, which defeated sin and death. The lie of the enemy tells us that God is disappointed in us, but the truth is that God's love is an unchangeable decision, not dependent on human performance. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

What should we pray about? To what degree to our prayers move the heart of God? God has entrusted His people with authority to see His kingdom come through prayer, despite feelings of inadequacy or past disappointments. We need to trust God even when prayers seem unanswered, recognizing that faith is not just about getting what we want from God, but trusting Him when we don't get what we expected.

In Acts 19, demons say something chilling: “Jesus I know, and Paul I know… but who are you?” This message explores the difference between knowing Jesus and merely using His name. Through passages like Matthew 7, James 4, and John 14, we’ll uncover why prayer without relationship, power without obedience, and religion without surrender ultimately fall empty. God isn’t looking for people who just talk about Him—He’s looking for people who truly know Him.

What if prayer isn’t about eloquence—but honesty? Scripture shows us that some of the most powerful prayers were only a few words long. A prophet trapped in a fish. A disciple sinking in the sea. A criminal dying on a cross. None of them prayed perfectly. But they prayed—and God heard them.

"We as humans grossly overestimate what we can get done in a year, and we grossly underestimate what we can get done in a decade." What have you established as the foundation of your soul? God's promises are yes and amen -- but life still happens... Our foundation determines whether or not we will hold fast to the promises of God or whether we will crumble in the face of troubles. Money makes the same promises God does—peace, security, significance—but only God delivers. When we steward our resources with both faith-filled generosity and practical wisdom, our world gets larger and larger, and we position ourselves to be used by God in extraordinary ways. Let's face it... time is fast and furious and we all wish there were more than 24 hours in a day! The hard truth is that we can't change the amount of minutes in a day -- but we can change how we manage those minutes. How can we grow in relationship with Jesus if we don't spend time with Him? How can we spend time with Him if we don't make time for Him? Scripture teaches us that there is wisdom in numbering our days. Our minutes, matter.
