Episódios

  • EP48: A Penis Bear Trap

    08/10/2020 Duração: 01h28min

  • EP47: Looking For Treasures in a 30 Year Old Want Ad

    28/09/2020 Duração: 01h18min

We're back after a three-month hiatus! As much as it sucks to have disappeared, Jay and Dean both went through some pretty major life changes (puberty) that caused the show to have to hit the shelf for a while. We return with a Want Ad from 1990 that we found is Jay's childhood garage, and we're searching for treasures.  Also check out the video version of the show at "Belligerence Podcast" on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wu1BNznqF5g&t=21s  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/belligerence/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/belligerence/support

    01/07/2020 Duração: 01h32min

It's been an eventful few weeks off for the Belligerence duo. Dean almost met his maker and got in a car accident all in the same hour. Dean also shares a harrowing story of being emasculated at the Doctor's office.  The boys play a game during the second half of the show, which puts Jay's law skills to the test with public embarrassment on the line!  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/belligerence/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/belligerence/support

    08/06/2020 Duração: 01h48min

Dean found his Livejournal from his emo days back in 2004, and it's exactly as cringeworthy as you'd expect. The boys dive into Dean's teenage angst, drama, and lies. 1993 Mark Wahlberg makes an appearance.  Stay tuned towards the end for our take on Black Lives Matter and the ongoing fight against injustice. • EP44: THE MANDELA EFFECT. EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS A LIE.

    26/05/2020 Duração: 01h32min

Dean and Jay get their fucking minds absolutely blown out of their heads as they venture down the Mandela Effect rabbit hole. For those unfamiliar, the Mandela Effect is the phenomenon where a large number of people share a false memory. A prominent example is the spelling of the Berenstain Bears. Most children of the 80s and 90s would swear it was spelled "Berenstein". Are these phenomena proof of alternate universes? Are we all just bad at remembering? Did THE DEEP STATE POISON US WITH THEIR VACCINES? We may never know.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/belligerence/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/belligerence/support

  • EP41: Your Facebook Friends Are Bad At Statistics

    17/03/2020 Duração: 01h15min

Seriously, what else would this episode even be about? The Lonely Bois (what we're calling ourselves now that we can't leave the house) discuss the new world we're all living in. Dean absolutely loses his mind around the 30-minute mark due to the spread of misinformation and the gullibility epidemic that is accompanying the actual virus. Jay and Dean talk about some of their experiences so far during the pandemic, and give their takes on the politicization that has become the norm whenever a crisis hits. On a serious note - please, PLEASE, follow the rules, stay healthy, be kind, show some humanity, and remember it's not about you but it's about the well-being of the greater good. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/belligerence/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/belligerence/support

    03/02/2020 Duração: 01h35min

Jay and Dean are fired up this Super Bowl Sunday. Dean really stirs the pot by asking Jay whether or not electronic artists are "real" musicians. After Jay calms down, the conversation turns to the apocalypse - everything from the current Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak, to humans destroying ourselves, to the creeping AI takeover. The Doomsday Clock is at 100 seconds to midnight; the closest it's ever been.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/belligerence/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/belligerence/support
