This is a recording of a little trip we took to the lake. As you can hear it was buzzing with nature. You can hear birds calling out to each other, and frogs jumping in the water. You're welcome to experience a small part of my daily routine, a quick evening shower. This idea came to me while I was enjoying my first shower of the day which takes place almost as soon as I wake up. I was listening to the shower water rain down on to my shoulders and I was just about mesmerized . I'm not sure I was able to convey the magic that flows through my ears but I tried my best! I have been very sick for the past few weeks, which is why there hasn't been a new episode posted in some time. I am overwhelmingly excited to be on the mend. On the other hand, my husband has come down with what I had in addition to the dreaded man flu which means my nights and mornings have been filled with a medley of my husbands sick moans mixed with coughing, sniffling, and sipping of tea. If this kind of stuff grosses you out, I suppose I would suggest you listen to a different episode. If not, you've come to the right place! In addition to the episode set up I'd like to point out that I've recently changed the intro to something much less "jarring." It is now set in a whisper tone and much easier on the ears. I will not be taking down my content from previous episodes which contained the old intro so please cut me some slack. I've taken your guy's advice as listeners. We live and we learn. I decided to take a trip down to my local arboretum and this is what I was met with. A glorious symphonic experience of all different types and species of birds and wildlife. Today, I decided to venture out and take a walk on the canal. The sun was shining, there was a nice crisp breeze, and the sky was filled with the most magnificent clouds. I felt it would be the perfect time to record my travels as my ears began to register the bird symphony that seemed to be skipping across the water. Generally our dogs watch us eat, which made me think what do they find so interesting about this? Which led me to return the favor and watch them take turns eating their dinner. I couldn't help but realized not only how confused they were that I was watching them but also how much it resembled a dinning room full of elderly people at dinner time which made me chuckle. While reorganizing my sitting room I decided to have a go at one of my vintage cameras, which made me remember why I purchased it to begin with. Winter is coming to a end and it has dawned on me that soon enough I'll have to wait a while before hearing the snow crunching under my feet again. In the spirit of nostalgia I figured I'd record a typical walk in the front yard with my dogs. This is one of their favorite times of the day. While cleaning the kitchen this morning I was reminded I accidentally left the water running. The faucet was droning on, when I went to turn it off I realized just how relaxing it was. Wow its been awhile since I've made kimchi fried rice and man was it good! These are one of my favorite meals and has been for a long time. I'm not sure a day has gone by where I haven't witnessed my dogs showing each other affection by cleaning each other. By each other I mean the oldest cleaning the youngest. Now that I stop to think about it I'm not sure if its a sign of endearment. Or just a obsessive compulsive habit haha either way I hope you enjoyed this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it! I have been wrapping gifts for what seems like weeks now. You would think by now I'd be sick of it, but contrary to popular belief I cant get enough of the audio sensory that comes along with it.
