When we look at Ephesians chapters 5 and 6 together, we see a complete picture of the Christian walk. Chapter 5 calls us to imitate Christ by walking in love, living as children of light, and honoring God in the way we live and in our relationships. Paul reminds us that our faith should be seen in our everyday actions, words, choices, our families, and communities. Then in Chapter 6, Paul ships our focus to the spiritual battle we all face. He reminds us that our struggle isn't against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. That's why we can't fight in our own strength.
