Walking with Jesus (His Word Is a Lamp to My Feet and a Light to My Path)
02/11/2026 Duração: 01h04minThe world tells you, “When I see it, I’ll believe it.” We go the other direction and explain why Jesus teaches believers to pray, believe you have received, and then watch the result show up. Along the way, we keep coming back to a grounded promise: God’s Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path, and the Holy Spirit actively leads you when you stay yielded instead of drifting into old cycles. We dig into grace of God theology that actually changes behavior. Grace is not a license to sin or a religious loophole; it trains us to renounce ungodliness and live from a new identity. We talk about “do to done,” the finished work of Christ, and why Christianity is fundamentally different from works-based religion. If you’ve ever wondered why grace is offered to all but not all are saved, we unpack the faith response, surrender, and real repentance that receives what Jesus already completed. Then we get practical: Mark 11 mountain moving faith, the hidden power of forgiveness, and why unforgiveness can darke

The Empty Cross (and The Resurrected Life)
25/10/2026 Duração: 50minPride rarely shows up wearing a warning label. It usually sounds like self-reliance or “I’ve got this.” Today we look at one sharp line from Galatians 6:14: the only safe place to boast is the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. The cross is empty. He’s not still on it.We walk through what humility really is. It is not fear or self-hate. It is yielded faith that stops blocking the grace God already provided. Isaiah 66:2 and James 4:6 show who God looks at. Gideon and Moses show what it looks like when a man finally admits he is nothing apart from God. Then Ephesians 3:20 brings it into the New Covenant—the power is already at work within us.We also challenge the phrase many Christians still repeat: “We’re all just sinners.” Second Corinthians 5:17 says otherwise. You were a sinner. You are a new creation. From David and Goliath to Romans 6, the fight plan stays the same: stop magnifying the threat, magnify the covenant, and run at the giant. The blood of Jesus is already dynamiting everything that opposes the wil

Faithful With Little (Occupy Until He Returns)
11/10/2026 Duração: 49minHiding what God put in your hand might feel safe. Jesus calls it something else. Last week we saw the vineyard owner calling everyone who would come, early or late, with equal pay. Today the Lord took us a step further. The Father is the gardener. Jesus is the vine. We are the branches. The Holy Spirit is the sap. God does the pruning. He cuts away dead things, and sometimes good things, to make room for better fruit. No man can do that for another. Then we opened Luke 19. A nobleman went away, left each servant the same small mina, and said occupy till I come. One put it to work. One wrapped it in a handkerchief, blamed the master, and lost it. The test was never how much you were given. The test was what you did with it. Faithfulness with little is how the kingdom works. Seed, time, and harvest is still a spiritual law. The abuses of prosperity teaching do not cancel the law. They only show why wisdom and good stewardship must come with the increase.Grace is the root. Faithfulness is the fruit. Get that back

Grace In The Vineyard
04/10/2026 Duração: 58minMissing your chance with God is one of the loudest lies shame tells, and we go straight after it. We start by lifting our eyes to the Lord as our ever-present help and by keeping the main thing the main thing: Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, not one option among many. From there, we talk about what God’s help actually looks like when your strength feels small, your past feels heavy, or your confidence wavers. We walk through two of Jesus’ sharpest parables in Matthew 20 and Matthew 21. The vineyard workers story challenges the “earn it” mindset and exposes resentment that can hide inside religious pride. The two sons story pushes us to ask a hard question: do we only talk, or do we repent and obey? Along the way we share a simple “ABC” self-check from 2 Corinthians 13:5 that helps you test where your trust really sits, look for spiritual fruit, and line your convictions up with the Bible instead of a Jesus shaped by culture. Then we get intensely practical with Christian discipleship and mind renewal

Jesus Is the Way — Not A Way
27/09/2026 Duração: 01h06min“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.” John 14:6 is either the most comforting promise Jesus ever gave — or the most confrontational claim you will ever face.He did not say He was a way. He said He was the way. That leaves no room for “He was just a good teacher.” Other paths that honor Jesus as an example but deny He is the only way to the Father are not Christianity with options. They are a different gospel. We also get practical about hearing God. If you have been waiting for a lightning bolt, this is why God often leads with a still small voice — and why an open Bible matters more than a closed nightstand. Scripture is more than information. The Holy Spirit takes the written Word and makes it a living word in the heart.Jesus showed us how to handle the Word in Luke 4. He read what was for that day and stopped before the verse about judgment. That is the difference between this age of grace and the day that is coming. The invitation is simple: listen, believe, speak the truth, love people well. We clos

Jesus Asks A Hard Question About Faith
20/09/2026 Duração: 01h05minJesus asks a question that lands like a weight: “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)This is not hype. Not religious effort. Not twisting God’s arm. Faith agrees with God, obeys what He says, and leaves the consequences to Him.We talk about an end-times church that looks like the Book of Acts — signs and wonders, yes, but also lasting fruit: character that looks like Christ and souls brought into the kingdom. God is already willing. The cross already provided. Faith is how we receive and partner with what He wants to do.That includes spiritual warfare that is never against people, and a steady confidence that the enemy is defeated even when he’s still loud. Open doors do no good if we refuse to walk through them. Sometimes obedience looks uncomfortable. Even foolish. One story says it all: a woman obeys a strange prompting to do a handstand in a grocery store — and it becomes the exact sign that stops a man from taking his life.We close with prayer, healing, blessing over pr

Stop Striving (Yield To God And Find Real Rest)
13/09/2026 Duração: 01h07minStriving can feel responsible, disciplined, even spiritual, but it can also be a quiet way of saying, “I’ve got this.” We sit with a simple, life-giving reframing: God is not calling us to push harder for His approval, He’s calling us to yield. When we receive the love of God first, everything else changes, our identity, our prayer life, our relationships, and the way we face pressure without panicking. We build the whole message around a memorable picture: a coin with two sides. One side says, “God loves you.” The other side says, “I am a reflection of God’s love.” That order is the key. When we start from grace, not performance, good works stop being a scoreboard and become overflow. Along the way we lean into Scripture like Matthew 11:28–30, Isaiah 30:15, Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:19, and Romans 10:4 to ground “rest in Christ” in something solid, not wishful thinking. Then we go story-deep. Hannah in 1 Samuel 1 shows what yielding looks like when life hurts: pouring out your soul, trusting God, and walking away w

The Gospel of Peace (Stand Firm Because Jesus Won)
06/09/2026 Duração: 52minPeace sounds simple until real life presses in and the promise doesn’t feel real yet. We start by grounding everything in Ephesians 1: God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ, chosen us for adoption, and made acceptance a gift. That single shift, from earning to receiving, changes how you read your story, how you handle shame, and why “peace of mind” is even possible. From there, we name the problem most people quietly live under: accusation. The devil is a slanderer who works overtime to convince you God is against you, disappointed in you, or punishing you. We push back with the gospel of peace: the war between God and man is over because of Jesus’ atoning sacrifice, resurrection, and finished work. We talk grace through faith, the divine exchange, and why you should stop blaming God for what steals, kills, and destroys. Then we get practical and honest about the tension: truth divides. Jesus doesn’t call us to make peace with darkness, but He does call us to love people while fighting the

Peace That Guards Your Mind (Stop Feeding Anxiety)
31/08/2026 Duração: 01h04minAnxiety can feel automatic, like something that just happens to you. Peace is not a mood. It’s the kind that guards your mind when money is tight, relationships are strained, or your thoughts won’t slow down.We start with the bedrock: God is faithful, and our confidence is anchored in Jesus. Romans 8:31–32 reframes the whole question of provision. If God gave us His Son, why would we live as if we’re on our own? From there we get practical with Philippians 4:6–8. Reject worry. Pray about everything. Pray with thanksgiving. Then train your mind to dwell on what is true, honorable, pure, and worthy of praise. We also get real about the unseen fight behind so many ordinary struggles. Taking every thought captive, recognizing strongholds, and cooperating with spiritual laws like sowing and reaping changes how we speak, act, and focus. And none of this is meant to become cold religion. Faith works through love. Love is what holds peace, provision, and victory together. If you want a sound mind, stronger faith, and a

In God Alone
17/08/2026 Duração: 50minSomething in us keeps reaching for what cannot hold us, and then we wonder why we feel tired. This message begins with a simple but stabilizing truth: life is short, people and systems fade, but the Word of the Lord remains forever. God’s promises do not expire. Staying close to Jesus is not a complicated puzzle—it is the only sane way to live in a loud world. We lean into the “keep it simple” challenge and the surprising power of a basic statement: light drives out darkness. A personal story of seeking God and realizing He was already near leads us into Jesus’ invitation in Matthew 11: “Come to me… and I will give you rest.” That rest is for the body and for the soul. Following Jesus should feel like relief, not crushing pressure. From John 1:16-17 we remember that the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. A powerful identity shift follows: the Father gives us Jesus as a gift, and then gives us to Jesus. That truth shapes our purpose, our endurance, and our readiness.Psalm

Go Tell What God Has Done
09/08/2026 Duração: 38minA storm. A graveyard. A broken man no one could help. And Jesus steps onto the shore anyway. In Mark 5 we watch Jesus cross a raging sea for one man — the Gadarene demoniac — and then send him home to tell what the Lord had done. That single story opens a window into the heart of God: He will go through the storm for you, deliver you, and then turn your life into a living testimony. We talk about how speaking God’s Word reshapes both the spiritual realm and our inner life. We look at the barrier of condemnation — how Jesus forgave the paralytic before He healed him — and why so many believers still struggle to receive. From Luke 15 and the joy of heaven over one lost sheep, we move into the grace life: freedom from performance, renewed thinking through Scripture, and faith that grows by hearing the Word of Christ. You don’t have to be a theologian. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just tell what God has done for you and trust Jesus with the rest.If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend

Stop Watching. Start Walking.
02/08/2026 Duração: 48minThe most dangerous place for a believer isn’t the wilderness — it’s the crowd. Close enough to watch Jesus, but not close enough to follow Him.In this message we walk through the Gospel of Mark and refuse the spectator seat. Jesus doesn’t save us to watch from a distance. He saves us to walk as He walked and live as He is in this world. We dig into one of the clearest faith stories in Scripture: four friends lower a paralyzed man through the roof to Jesus. Before Jesus heals the body, He speaks to the deeper wound: “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Why does forgiveness feel easier to say than “Rise and walk”? And what keeps so many believers stuck in hidden forms of paralysis — guilt, shame, unworthiness, and the quiet unbelief of “maybe God will”?This message calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus, reject condemnation, and step into our identity as new creations filled with the Holy Spirit. If Acts 10:38 and John 14:12 are true, then Jesus’ ministry is not a museum piece — it’s our model.Today I choose to follow Jesu

Fix Your Eyes On Jesus
26/07/2026 Duração: 41minIf you feel pulled in a hundred directions, the answer isn’t louder opinions or better distractions. It’s a single, steady focus: “Look unto Jesus.”We open Hebrews 12:2 and talk about Jesus as the founder and perfecter of our faith — the One who endured the cross and finished His mission so we can run our race with endurance instead of living out of the rearview mirror. From there we get practical: hope as confident trust in Jesus, not luck or fear-based thinking. We dig into how thoughts shape our identity, why Scripture calls us to take every thought captive, and how sin often begins as a single unchecked idea.We also correct a modern distraction — fixation on darkness. Yes, prophecy matters, but we’re not waiting for the Antichrist. We’re waiting for Jesus Christ. That perspective changes how we handle temptation, spiritual warfare, and our daily choices. We talk about our identity as a new creation, God’s promise of a way of escape, and our position as seated with Christ in heavenly places, walking in deleg

Praise Before The Battle
05/07/2026 Duração: 48minFreedom gets celebrated with fireworks, but it gets tested on ordinary days when fear and pressure come. From our Fourth of July gathering, we honor the freedom we have in this nation — then turn to the greater freedom we have in Christ. We walk through Galatians 5 and 2 Chronicles 20, showing how praise, prayer, and proclamation become powerful weapons in spiritual warfare. When we stop complaining and start declaring God’s promises, faith rises and victory follows. If this encouraged you, subscribe and share it with someone who needs it.What’s one promise you’re ready to start proclaiming out loud?Connect With Grace & Truth Church Website: https://gtchouston.org/Visit UsSundays: 10:30 am service (10 am fellowship)21902 Northwest Freeway Access Rd, Cypress, Texas 77429(in the VFW Post 8905 small hall - next to Carl's BBQ)Onine Givinghttps://graceandtruthchurch.churchcenter.com/givingConnect with Pastor William BrockerYouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@willbrockerminFollow on Socials: https://www

You Have More Authority In Christ Than You Think
28/06/2026 Duração: 49minThe pressure is real right now. When the world feels unstable, rumors multiply, and fear tries to take over, we have a choice: live by what we see or live by what God says.We start with a simple but powerful reminder: Jesus loves every person, He paid for the sins of the whole world, and grace is available to all. But it still calls for a faith response. This message will help steady your mind and strengthen your walk with God as we talk about living by the Holy Spirit instead of emotions and fear. You’ll be encouraged to walk in the authority you have in Christ, press into deeper faith, and bear real fruit even when things get hot.If you need biblical encouragement, Holy Spirit fire, and practical discipleship for these times, this message is for you.Connect With Grace & Truth Church Website: https://gtchouston.org/Visit UsSundays: 10:30 am service (10 am fellowship)21902 Northwest Freeway Access Rd, Cypress, Texas 77429(in the VFW Post 8905 small hall - next to Carl's BBQ)Onine Givinghttps://gracean

Father’s Day Reflection On Closeness With God
21/06/2026 Duração: 47minOn this Father’s Day, we talk about drawing near to our Heavenly Father. No matter what our earthly fathers were like, God is not distant. He invites us into closeness, protection, provision, and peace that flows from relationship, not striving. We look at Jesus as the perfect example of intimacy with the Father and how we can live in that same nearness every day. If you’ve been hurt or felt rejected, God wants to heal those places and draw you closer to Him.Connect With Grace & Truth Church Website: https://gtchouston.org/Visit UsSundays: 10:30 am service (10 am fellowship)21902 Northwest Freeway Access Rd, Cypress, Texas 77429(in the VFW Post 8905 small hall - next to Carl's BBQ)Onine Givinghttps://graceandtruthchurch.churchcenter.com/givingConnect with Pastor William BrockerYouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@willbrockerminFollow on Socials: https://www.facebook.com/GTCpeople/

Jesus Makes It Better (Dare to Dream Big)
08/06/2026 Duração: 01h04minThis powerful message centers on a transformative truth that can revolutionize our Christian walk: Jesus doesn't just make things a little better—He makes everything much better. Drawing heavily from the book of Hebrews, we're reminded that we have a better covenant with better promises, a better sacrifice, and a better inheritance than anything the Old Testament could offer. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than Abel's blood, crying out for mercy and forgiveness rather than vengeance. We're challenged to stop waiting for better days and realize that Jesus IS the better, and today is the day the Lord has made. The message confronts our tendency to focus on past mistakes, present problems, or limited resources, urging us instead to see the seeds of God's abundance and look expectantly toward the harvest. There's a profound call to mature believers to stop thinking their best days are behind them—Moses climbed a mountain at 120 with full strength, and Caleb at 85 declared &a

Trusting God (when we don’t understand) - Looking for Hummingbirds, Seeing Cardinals
17/05/2026 Duração: 40minThis message invites us to shift our spiritual perspective from striving to receiving. At its heart is a powerful truth: we often become so fixated on what we're asking God for that we miss the beautiful blessings He's already placed right in front of us. The imagery of watching for hummingbirds while missing the stunning cardinals in the birdbath captures this perfectly. We're challenged to recognize that through Christ, we already possess everything we need for life and godliness. The message explores the profound symbolism of the crimson worm, or 'tola,' from Psalm 22, revealing how this creature's life cycle mirrors Christ's sacrifice. Just as the mother worm clings to a tree, dies to feed her offspring, and releases a crimson stain that eventually turns white as snow, Jesus became our sin so we could be made righteousness. We're reminded that healing, provision, and blessing aren't things we must beg for—they're already ours in Christ. The key is understa
