Special Guest Melanie Ewan of Women in Tech World Guest Melanie Ewan of Women in Tech World joins host Drew Ogryzek and discusses her background, the importance of increasing diversity in tech, and the Driving WinTech Canadian tour to connect women in tech. This fall, Women in Tech (WinTech) is conducting a Canada-wide fact-finding mission to better understand and record the experiences of women in technology and to promote vibrant women in tech communities across the country. To our knowledge, this has never been done before in Canada. There are smaller qualitative and quantitative studies and lots of anecdotal evidence of women's experiences in tech, but no one has taken on a project of this magnitude or mandate.
