Gordie is joined by his mom, RUTH ADAMS! We begin the conversation with EC COMICS talk and why Ruth and Gordie turned out the way they did. Ruths mom goes into scary neighborhoods to spread the Planned Parenthood gospel in the 50's, Ruth gets married and moves to California. Gordie puts a bean up his nose, digs a hole and gets his Halloween candy stolen. (...again.) Ruth remembers waking up Christmas morning with a fully decorated tree, confuses "Special Olympics" with "Cub Scout Olympics" and goes for a walk in the sunshine. QUEEN at the beginning and end.
