Sinopse

Australian Foundation was listed on the stock exchange in 1928 to provide a mechanism for JB Were clients who were too small for a direct portfolio.  The crash followed in 1929 but the Australian Foundation survived, as it has for 80 years.   The structure is based on the traditional UK listed investment company structure.  In today’s terms it would be described as low cost active. Our guest Ross Barker shares the history of this ASX institution, the investment philosophy that has served them through the peaks and troughs of the markets and we delve into the outlooks for some of Australia’s largest companies.  Compelling listening for all Self Managed Super Fund trustees.   Compound your wisdom!
