This year’s edition of the Singapore Writers Festival is well under way, with yet another fantastic line up of authors and thinkers from all across the world. Every year, the festival has seen a steady growth of featured local talent - both Singaporean and Malaysian. This week, on Bookmark, Uma speaks to Daryl Yam and Amanda Chong, two young Singaporean authors about the Singapore literature scene and what it’s like to be a young person writing in Singapore.
