Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a wonderful alternative to the current insanity of health care. DPC offers a one-to-one relationship with your primary care provider (PCP) for a monthly fee. You get to know your PCP, he/she gets to know you. Because a DPC provider doesn't accept insurance, there is no middle man. You pay that monthly fee and have access to your provider. It's literally that simple. And, given that there are no insurance company's to satisfy, the fee you pay is significantly lower than what you'd think.
