Pastor Chandler teaches us that because Jesus has made us alive in Him, we are called to live differently. Using the picture of Lazarus coming out of the grave, it emphasizes that many believers are alive in Christ but still wearing “grave clothes” from their old life. Paul’s instructions in Colossians 3:15–17 show us how to live out this new life: by letting the peace of Christ rule our hearts, allowing the Word of Christ to dwell in us deeply, and making every part of our lives about the glory of Jesus.
