On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is here with Jacob Winans (@JakeW_8) to discuss the Panthers 5-2 comeback win, where the Panthers looked lifeless after the first 40 minutes only registering 8 SOG's. The change for the Panthers was switching up the wingers in the middle six (Carter Verhaeghe and AJ Greer) and Head Coach Paul Maurice went on a full rant during a TV timeout. The Panthers were on it from the beginning of the third period where once they got the first goal from Niko Mikkola after a save from Freddie Anderson on Eetu Luostarinen seconds before, the floodgates opened. Before we knew it, the Panthers went from down two goals to up two midway through the third period. It was five different goal scorers for the Panthers that were able to pile it on while registering 14 shots in the third period. Florida were faster to puck retrievals while the Hurricanes were standing still in their own end, and that left Andersen out to dry as he was under siege
