Today King Ron and Jay Lyfer had to coast the airwaves without Special K. We discussed Metro's most recent officer involved shooting (OIS#6) in which yet another cowardly rookie cop opened fire on a member of our Las Vegas community. LVMPD Officer Wills shot his victim 7 times. The victim was a 34 year old woman named Sommer Richards. Our journey took us on various tangents as we discussed many issues including poverty & homelessness, the wealth gap in the US and in the world combined with the lack of social mobility, the death of the American Dream, and the importance of workers unions in light of the upcoming Culinary Union Strike Vote.
