Our FEATURE today focuses on the massive change that America has experienced at the United States Patent & Trade Office (USPTO) over the past 6 years to the detriment of inventors , new innovations and the public itself. The US Congress passed the America Invents Act of 2011 that enabled the tech giants to control the patent industry whuch resulted in the cancellation of thousands of already granted patents. We discuss a specific instance where the Patent Trial & Review Board (PTAB) has ruled this past week that Apple's and AT&T's suit to invalidate VoIP-PAL.com's 7 patents was rejected by the PTAB. In addition The Supreme Court of the US will hear two cases tomorrow November 27th that COULD rule that the PTAB's confiscation of patent property is unconstitutional.
