Our FEATURE today focuses on the sudden and reversal of public opinion adverse and hostile towards big technology companies. One Wall St Journal writer metaphorically refers to Mark Zuckerberg as Dr Frankenstein who inadvertently created a monster. Another on-line site writer calls Zuckerberg "the scum of the earth". Google which once communicated to all its' employees to "Do No Evil" did exactly that when it vigorously lobbied for the America Invents Act and created the Patent Trial & Appeal Board that cancelled thousands of existing patents. Now Congress has intervened on behalf of the inventors and small business owners with the bi-partisan support of the Stronger Patents Act that should ameliorate the problems created by the self-serving tech companies.
