Digging Diversely

This week we start out with our casual discussion of our favorite childhood tv shows, disney channel original movies, and being a faux redhead. The main topic this week is all about the announcement that Sulu is gay.  We talk about George Takei's reaction. We talk about the importance of normalizing gay relationships in media and how Star Trek will hopefully move every body forward as it has always done in that past. We talk a lot about sexuality this episode and we bring up bisexuality & the erasure of it.  John Boyega teased romance for Episode 8 - WHO WILL IT BE???? We know who we want. In the end we get really sappy talking about what we've learned since we started podcasting.
