The Crazy Leopard's Movement  Science or Gurus   We address a recent Facebook post related to Physical Therapists becoming 'movement experts'. Physical Therapists must choose between Science or Gurus. Original Question from a recent DPT Graduate: "Alright people, I have a confession: I am a 3rd year PT student and no where close to being a "movement expert." However, I am genuinely interested in improving this portion of my clinical skills. I honestly don't know proper form with a number of exercises and really struggle to watch someone move and say they probably have "x deficit " wrong with them. Could anyone suggest a good text for improving my foundation in this area? I have been considering "Movement" by Gray Cook or "Supple Leopard" by Kelly Starrett. I've read the Amazon reviews but would much prefer feedback from you guys. Any thoughts on either of those or other texts you all would suggest? Oh, and I can't afford an SFMA course at this time but am definitely considering it after graduation."
