Hello gorgeous and welcome back to the Sexyfit Podcast! Emotional eating, binge eating, eating in isolation, closet eating – call these behaviors however you want. The solution to them is one and all the same. It all comes down to the idea of trusting our body and understanding what it wants and needs. This doesn't usually happen in fitness. Fitness and fat loss usually come in a box or in the shape of a meal plan. But meal plans don't allow us to trust our body. That is why I lean towards the macronutrient approach which helps us understand what our body needs on scientific level, which emotions we are actually craving and which ones we are trying to numb or hide. Binge eating happens when there is a negative emotion that is not being felt and acknowledged.  Your body and mind doesn't want to feel the negative emotion, and it will do everything to keep us safe.
