In this solo, I share my journey with strength training and how it has transformed my perception of fitness and body image and helped me build more emotional resilience. Like many women, I am impacted the the outside noise and all of the things we "should" do to be healthy. By nurturing my internal compass, I have found more peace within myself and my body than ever before. This journey to greater acceptance has had a positive domino affect on my entire well-being including personal relationships, anxiety and of course how I feel about body image, food and exercise.
