Sinopse

Thanksgiving is a great American tradition, and for me our greatest national holiday. Most experience Thanksgiving as the great gathering of families. It is the most traveled time of the year, either by road, rail or air as folks gather together for feast and fellowship. Even more it is the occasion for giving thanks to God who made us, saved us, and lives within us for his glory and the salvation of the whole world. It’s rooted in our pilgrim forebears who came to this nation seeking religious freedom and the opportunity to establish a community grounded in God’s presence that they might truly be that “city on a hill” that Jesus calls us to. While Thanksgiving is our grand American celebration, neither the call to be the light of the world nor to live out of deep gratitude to God is uniquely American. It is the call of all those who name the name of Jesus and seek to live in him. On this eve of Thanksgiving I talk with TC, Ania, and Velma, internationals now serving or study
