This week Dr. Boen Nutting joined us to discuss what is going on in the Iredell/Statesville school system, and what parents can expect for future initiatives in our school system.Boen began her career as an elementary school teacher and worked her way up to Principal once her children began Middle School. Through their Middle school years, she stay with her children until she was swept away by the school superintendent's office to be the internal and external communications director; a role that she still holds today.We are very encouraged to hear about the steps that are being taken to further protect and provide support to students that may be experiencing emotional stress which has lead to a rise in suicide amongst the youth in America.
